The Ebay representative was the one that brought it up to me as he said it was "lucky for you" that they left the shipping address alone.I'm not sure I'd call that lucky but. I confirmed this with the seller that the address he had to ship the item to was actually my address. This expensive electronic was on its way to me at MY HOUSE. Here's the part that has me concerned, whoever made this purchase actually left the shipping address alone. I'm sure it will so I'm not super worried about that. Luckily, we were able to get that all sorted out and I'm going to have to work with my credit card to ensure that the charge gets refunded back to my card. Quickly got ahold of an Ebay representative who suggested that I call the seller to see if we could work it out to cancel the transaction. Of course, when I saw the cost of said purchase, I almost did something that sounds very simliar to "ship".
Unluckily for them, I happened to check my email at the right time to catch the notification from Ebay that my purchase was about to ship. Assumably to hide their recent unapproved purchase. Whoever this person was, also then lovingly subscribed me to over 4,000 newsletters and other assorted communications which then flooded my inbox with notifications. Someone somehow compromised my Ebay account earlier today and ordered a rather expensive electronic and used the credit card tied to my PayPal account to pay for the purchase.
